All We Expected & Raum Kingdom Split

Ippocalyptica Raum Kingdom are nearly the best at what they do, and for what it is worth, I much prefer them to other similar but more popular bands such as Cult of Luna and their ilk. This comes down to the simple fact that while some of Raum Kingdom’s peers might be a bit more polished or technically proficient, virtually none of them can match the emotional intensity and overwhelming weight of these Irish masters’ compositions. All-consuming, and painful, and beautiful. Favorite track: Grace.

Alice M. Two ten-minute tracks of the kind of massive post-sludge I can’t seem to get enough of. Even the more peaceful moments have a particular aura to them.

bcb723 Are you fucking kidding me? I sat on this for a while because Raum Kingdom's "Everything & Nothing" is just so singularly brilliant that I was afraid their other work wouldn't match up. Guess what... it most definitely does. Dave Lee continues to fly under the radar as one of my favorite singer/lyricists out there. Two tracks at 22 minutes that hold nothing back, either musically or emotionally. Again, I can't recommend a band any higher than this. Beautiful. Favorite track: Grace.

warren barton What a stunning band Raum Kingdom are! This band should be huge, gigantic riffs and mesmerising vocals, these two killer songs build and build until erupting into chaos. Favorite track: Grace.

Grace 10:04
I tried to feel something, I tried to be apart of something, But the strings, But the strings that I've Been pulling have been severed, From the victim within, The walls of pain are closing in, Now that the blood has spilled, The challenge remains, Remove the vail, Falling Slow. I hoped i feel something, I hoped to be apart of something, But the strings, But the strings that i've been pulling have been severed, Severed, From the chaos within, A mind that bends so frequently, Now that the bond has split, A challenge the same, Remove the vail, Falling. Blind rage, Raise your head fall from grace.

Broken..Silence.. Shattered..Dreams.. Slipping through..My grip like sand.. In the hunt I'm losing you..Trailing, A wounded and frightened soul..Failing, A crack in the sky for you..Dislocate, Are these visions false or true..Clouded, Walk onto this barren land, Bury him where you stand. This heart...It beats for you, This blood...Flows for you, These lungs...Breath for you, This blood...Turns for you. No more...Fighting myself...No more. Strike me down my savior set me free. Try to claw back the memories, Serve your sentence with dignity, Hunter inside me unseeing, Rise from the shadows and taste the scent, Hearts of light..Souls of night, Hearts of night..Souls of light.
